Well, it’s been over eight years since the Niche Software website first appeared at http://home.clear.net.nz/pages/niche and the time has come for a new home. Introducing http://www.nichesoftware.co.nz.

While it’s always been my goal to move the site to a domain of its own, there have been more pressing priorities - like actually having some content that’s worth reading. There are a lot of flashy, snazzy, impressive websites out there that look mighty impressive until you start looking around and realise that there is virtually no content. I’ve always thought that the most important thing is to have the content that people want - the domain itself is just the final piece of polish.

And here we are - with a (growing) site full of content, and a brand new domain to play with. The existing site will remain for the foreseeable future - I don’t want to break anyone’s bookmarks or inbound links.
